I’m a former television writer. I returned to Nashville after Survivor killed my career. Then I went to paralegal school and started writing prose instead of scripts.
As a paralegal, I first worked in the Antitrust Division of the Tennessee Attorney General’s office, then in Family Law (which I loved). I’ve done two tours as a temp for the state Department of Human Services reviewing Medicaid appeals, then worked on the other side of Medicaid in a hospital emergency room helping people apply. Right now (10/2012) I’m looking for employment.
I started selling Avon in January ’09. It’s not something I ever pictured myself doing, but I really enjoy it. I love the skincare products, especially the Anew Ultimate 7S and Clinical lines. And sometimes I even wear makeup! I’m currently adding to my Avon team; if you’re interested in making some extra money, go to start.youravon.com and enter reference code “eugeniashipman” (no quotes) to join my team.
And the writing. I’m still struggling as a writer. I’m writing some short stories and flash fiction, submitting them here and there. I’ve done NaNoWriMo since 2006. Haven’t won yet. Someday…
More to come.
